Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska studied composition from an early age, initially in the class of Magdalena Cynk at the K. Szymanowski Complex of Music Schools in Toruń. In 2013, she graduated with distinction from the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in the class of prof. Zbigniew Kozub. She is also a graduate of postgraduate studies in composition (2014) at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna under the supervision of prof. Reinhard Karger. In 2016, she obtained a doctorate in musical arts in the artistic discipline of composition and music theory, and in 2023 a postdoctoral degree.
She is a laureate of several dozen prestigious national and international composition competitions, including the International Composition Competition in Oklahoma City, USA (2010), the Gramodeska International Composition Competition in Prague (2011), the T. Ochlewski National Composition Competition organized by the Polish Music Publishing House (2011 and 2015), the Marathon V-Festival International Composition Competition for young contemporary music in Vienna (2013), the Z. Mycielski National Composition Competition of the KM Association of Polish Composers (2013, 2014), the XIV. International Forum Music of Youth in Kyiv (2016), Special Prize European Piano Bridge at the 4th International Composition Competition Artistes en Herbe in Luxembourg (2017), 2nd Prize at the First Accordion Composition Competition Fidelio in Madrid (2017), 3rd Prize at the 4th Opus Dissonus Composition Competition 2018 in Brazil (2018), KALEIDOSCOPE 2019 International Composition Competition in Los Angeles, USA (2019), Subtle Cheetah Brass Quintet International Composition Competition in New York (2019), NEW VISION International Composition Competition in New York (2020), International Call for Score Musica Prospettiva in Italy (2020-2021), distinction in the Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition in Vienna (2022), distinction in the 9th International Piano Competition Smederevo in the composition category in Serbia (2022) or the Golden Diploma in the "Composition" category at the International Competition "Musical Eagles" (2023).
Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska has received numerous artistic and scientific scholarships, including Scholarships of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2012, 2020, 2024, including the “Young Poland” scholarship), Zaiks Creative Scholarships, Scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists awarded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2017-2020) and the Medal of Young Art of Głos Wielkopolski (2020).
Her compositions are very often performed in Poland and during numerous prestigious festivals and concerts of contemporary music in Europe (Austria, Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, Norway, Majorca, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, Iceland, Hungary, Switzerland, Kosovo), Asia (Indonesia, Iran, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam), North America (New York, Oklahoma City, New Mexico, Kansas, New Jersey, Sacramento), South America (Brazil) and Australia (Sydney). The composition of the young artist Trzy Tańce Polskie for brass quintet was qualified by an international jury and performed in 2016 during one of the most important new music festivals in the world – the World Music Days in South Korea, which is organized by the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM). The composer was one of the youngest participants of this Festival. In 2018, her piece Medytacja III was selected from over 1000 compositions to be performed as part of the SCI Conference at the University of New Mexico (USA). In recent years, Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska's compositions have been presented, among others, during the following concerts and festivals: LOOP 11 in Belgium, Eesti Muusika Päevad in Estonia, Tehran Contemporary Music Festival in Iran, Internationales Posaunen Festival IPV in Basel, during the concert of laureates of the international composition competition at the Mozarthaus in Vienna, Word and music on exile and asylum at the Berlin Philharmonic or as part of the International Flute Festival at the Sydney Opera House.
It is worth emphasising that Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska has participated twice in the national programme “Music of Our Times” (Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice) via a competition in recent years and was a resident of the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Society.

Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska's works are regularly published by, among others, PWM Polish Music Publishers, DUX, the Publishing House of the Association of Polish Chamber Musicians, Acte Prélable and Norsk Musikforlag from Norway.
In 2021, the composer's first monographic album was released Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska. Chamber Music, published by DUX.
Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, who received the honorary badge "Meritorious for Polish Culture" (2021), is the President of the Poznań branch of the Polish Composers' Union, a member of the Polish Society of Contemporary Music, and an assistant professor at the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.
